Nicholas "Nick" Chirico is a Cinema Artist, Producer, Director, Actor, Cinematographer, Telly Award-Winning Editor, Activist, and engineer, living and working in the Chicagoland area with a career that spands over 30 years. He is classically trained in the proper implementation of media literacy. Mr. Chirico's training in film/acting started when he was very young at the Dallas Young Actors Studio, and he participated in the Repertory Theatre & film scene. Amongst his early credits, his first major childhood stage appearance was through a repertory production of ALL MY SONS.

Mr. Chirico believes in composing collaboration for the progression of collective memory in the art & and sciences of the moving image. Without specific commentary, Chirico's ethnographic approach to storytelling challenge audiences to contemplate the status quo of cultural, socioeconomic, political, reality and identity structures, and arrive at their own conclusions.

Nick's work has been screened at Design Cloud, Indie Incubator and SAIC Galleries. He holds a BA in Film/Video from Columbia College Chicago, and attended Northwestern University's software engineering bootcamp in 2022. Nick is a 2013 Telly Award-Recipient for editing. Nick has extensive experience in media law. Here he learned a valuable lesson in copyright inflation. Including the globalized implications of consensual credit via ad revenue for an artists work on democratized streaming sites such as Youtube. Though Chirico is a staunch believer in the theatrical release of cinema as an art form, and without the commercialized demeans of algorithms; for now, this is win-win. Cinema exists in evolution, and that the spirit of cinema, though staggered, has a place, and is under going a rebirth in the digital age. Nicholas is fighting for that. Nick has his own gear and is able to travel. Enjoy!
